For the past four to five years, I’ve been a member of a local outdoor workout group—Team Adrenaline—led by Dr. Steve Krauza. Every April, Steve (aka Dr. Krazy, as we fondly refer to him), offers a month of FREE workouts.
If you’re in need of some motivation, accountability, or a bunch of new fitness friends, you’ll find all that & more with Team Adrenaline.

What is Team Adrenaline?
Led by Erie chiropractor Steve Krauza, Team Adrenaline is best described as an “organic” or “urban” workout. All the workouts are done outside year-round using minimal “equipment” beyond what nature or the venue provides (curbs for box jumps, bleachers for running, etc.). See video here. Workouts are offered in east county at various locations on Monday morning, Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, and most Saturdays.The latest schedule & locations can be found here.
Workouts typically last an hour and they are never the same (though you will see the same elements — planks, sprints, pushups, etc.).
And…believe it or not…they are fun! (I’m not kidding!)
Here’s what you need to know: ANYONE can do these workouts because they are completely adaptable. So, fitness level is no excuse. We have all levels of fitness and everyone works out to their ability and, Steve is happy to give alternative moves you have particular issues (knee problems, shoulder injury, etc.)

It’s that time of year again! Free Team Adrenaline workouts for all throughout the month of April
The free workouts are 1) a thank you to those who toughed it out with me during the winter months. 2) an invite to those who worked out indoors during the winter to rejoin us as the weather warms up. 3) Encourage new participants to give Team Adrenaline a try without any financial risks or long term commitments.
Workouts are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This means there will be more than two dozen opportunities to try Team Adrenaline for free! Spread the word! Bring a friend, or two or five…. The more the merrier.

Also, for parents: Note that many of the participants bring their kids. Some workout alongside us, most run off and play together nearby (yep…outdoors, running and playing with other kids just like in the olden days).
What happens after April?
If you want to join the team after April, Dr. Krauza sells punch cards in various sizes/denominations. So, you buy a card….when you attend a workout, it’s punch. You only pay for workouts you attend, and, between you & me, Steve throws in a lot of freebies, so you get more than your money’s worth!
